Dooku1

Kevin's work on developing and characterising a novel  tool compound to help understand the complex biology of the mechanosensitive Piezo1 channel has just been published in the British Journal of Pharmacology. The compound (called Dooku1) antagonises a chemical activator of the channel (Yoda1) and is now being routinely utilised  in a number of labs to mediate the effects of chemical activation of Piezo1.
