Welcome to new starter

We welcome Dr Clara Herrera who has recenty started work with us as a post-doctoral research associate. Clara joins us from the University Complutense Madrid (UCM) where she was recently awarded a PhD  on the design and synthesis of multi-targeted agents for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and photoswitchable muscular nicotinic receptor ligands. Clara will be working on a MRC funded project to investigate the development of novel small molecule ligands of an ion channel of interest to our research group. We wish her luck with her research!
